Welcome to the International Web Festival Albena 2008

The International Web Festival is jointly organized by the Bulgarian Web Association and Mediamixx Group from 4 to 8 June 2008 in the Black Sea Resort Albena, Bulgaria.
The Web sites will compete in 22 categories, covering different economic and social fields. In each category, the Jury of five prominent Web professionals will award the best Web sites. In some categories the Jury will be helped by experts from the respective branches.
The evaluation process includes the following stages – preselection and nominations, determining of the winner of the best Web site award in each category, determining of the winners of the special awards for best Web site developer and for best Web site-offered service and the winner of the Grand Prix for the best Web site.
In each category there will be special prizes for the Internet customers’ favorite sites. They will be awarded after SMS voting of the public.
There is news in the festival program – all the Web sites nominated in the separate categories will be presented to the Jury and the broad public. Finalists should convince the Jury why their site should win.
The registration for the Web Festival will continue until 6 p.m. on 17 May 2008.
